Who we are

We believe that ecological and social sustainability are the bedrock values on which real economic and human well being depend. Biome Environmental originated with the merger of Chitra Vishwanath Architects and Rainwater Club, whose cumulative experience in ecological architecture and responsible water practices spans two decades.

What we do

Our services range from building design and rainwater harvesting consultancy to environmental planning and comprehensive water strategising. We place great emphasis on developing strong communication channels with each of our clients, which helps us delivering the most satisfying service we can.

Our projects

All of our works carry the mark of our sensitivity to environment and those inhabiting it. This can be seen in our emphasis on low-energy inputs and local materials, water-conserving systems, low-impact sanitation, ethical labour practices, and the incorporation of local plant life and green space in our designs.
