Having worked with us in 1996 for the construction of his house, Dr. Raghvendra was keen to replicate the same choice of construction materials for his new dental clinic.  The ground floor includes spaces for parking, reception, a consultation room, cubicles and ancillary facilities. The first and second floors accommodate a small apartment with three bedrooms.

The building harvests its rainwater and uses it for all purposes except drinking and cooking.  Mr. Habbar is a retired engineer who helped us with construction, and had no previous experience in the use of stablised mud blocks and arch panel roofing.  With the help from our master mason Ravi, Mr.Habbar did a remarkable job of coming up with new ideas to attain a good finish and in a short time.

Structure:

• Walls – stabilized mud block and part wire-cut brick walls on an RCC-framed structure
• Roofing – plain RCC and arch panels
• Flooring – Kota stone and clay tiles
